Many homeowners have purposefully made the switch to a gas-powered stove, but why are they making a comeback? There are many good reasons!

First of all, gas is cost effective. Electricity may be convenient, but it is also costly dependant on it’s source. Generally, gas tends to be far cheaper, especially if you do a lot of cooking. Many gas tanks last months and months before needing to be refilled.

Another factor that’s attracting many of the home-chefs toward gas cookers is their instant response. Electric stoves take some time to heat up, not only wasting time, but also making their temperatures harder to precisely control when it comes to getting that recipe just right.

Along with that quicker start time, comes a consistent heat that heats up your pots and pans much faster, and far more evenly, which makes a big difference to many meals cooked on stove-top cookware.

A finally reason is their construction. A gas stove can require some initial investment, but they almost always outlive their electric counterparts because of their sturdy mechanical design and materials.
